three forms of evidence required.
Throughout
my course I will be assessed in a range of ways like presentation, written
reports, interactive media products, notes on production techniques and
observation. Every assignment will have particular assessment criteria for
Pass, Merit and Distinction.
By the time we graduate, different methods of assessment will help us to develop a well- rounded set of abilities.
AC
2.3 Explain the methods of recording progress for the programme.
Our
progress and development is very seriously taken in Area51. It is recorded in
ILP section in Moodle 2. We have 6 one to one progress review sessions with our
personal tutor throughout the year. The progress is recorded in several ways.
One of them is recording according to percentage. It is also recorded via a progress
review number (1=excellent, 2=good, 3=satisfactory, 4=more effort needed) or it
is written, explaining more in depth the progress. The final grading criteria for
different modules are Pass, Merit or Distinction.
AC
2.4 Describe the appeals procedure.
Learner
who wishes to appeal against any decisions made in relation to their assessment
should contact the Head of Learner Services, if the Assessor is not agreed with
the learner. The nature of the appeal should be set out in writing, clearly
explaining the grounds for the appeal.

3.1 Summarise the support services available to learners including financial
assistance, transport and emergency situations.
Learners
receive a great number of support services. Learning Centre is a support for
learning in order the learner to get the best possible results. Induction helps
you to understand what you are going to do on your new course. Special Learning
Difficulties helps learners who need additional learning support or have
disability. Student Services can help you with questions such as grants, ID
cards, transport and other matters not directly related to your course. Careers
Wales Gwent is a resource centre where you can find information about higher
education and employment as well as careers and university course. The Coleg
Gwent Counselling Service will support you in making your own decisions if you
have any problems in your life. Bilingual champion: Kelly Young will give the
information about what is available in your campus in Welsh. Full-time learners may be able to get free or
subsidised travel during college time, and reduced fares in the evenings and at
weekends. Hot and cold food is available in the canteen at Coleg Gwent campus
as well as vending machines. Also, you can get financial support. You have to
familiarize yourself and adhere to the college fire/emergency and first aid

All
full time learners will have a personal tutor, who will provide accessible and
informed
guidance
and support to address their needs in terms of their academic progress,
personal
development and career development.
Using my strengths, I am going to improve my weaknesses
and threats. For example, working hard will give me more experience and more confidence
in my abilities. My ability to manage time will help me not to be stressed when
I have to do many tasks for the same time. Competitors will not be my threats
anymore if I am confident in my knowledge, punctual and professional.
Here are my target grades. All of them are distinctions
as I always tend to achieve best results. I am going to do it, using my strengths.
AC
